Emma Garrett

Emma started her casting career age 21 when she worked at the home of Casting - Spotlight - and soon realised this was her passion. She worked as an assistant for some of the biggest casting directors in the country.

Then in 2018 she set up her own casting company, Garrett Casting. During that time Emma has cast numerous award winning projects, from a short film in consideration for the Oscars, the multi-award winning Absent and NO DOG to working with the BFI, Channel 4, Netflix and BBC 3.

Emma has also cast hundreds of top campaigns for brands such as Apple, Sky, Amazon, Barclays, Amazon and so many more we won’t list here. Emma has won a graphite pencil for casting from D&AD as well as a CRAFT Casting award for the massively popular campaign for Marshall featuring the legendary, IGGY POP.

Emma’s main passion is comedy, she prides herself in finding the best new comedy talent as well as being able to secure top names and comedians for various large scale projects. Emma’s casting eye is very much directed to find characterful, interesting faces and performers, bringing out their comedy and in general, being able to get brilliant performances from Actors in casting sessions.

The ethos is to be fair, friendly, supportive, driven and professional. Emma believes when you relax an actor then you get the best performance out of them in order to get all the best people for your project, that’s a casting directors job.
